Famous Tugu in Yogyakarta

If you come alone to Jogja, and you're confused with direction to your friend's address, ask him/her to guide your direction to her/him started from Tugu. From tugu to south, north, east or west. Tugu is one of the most famous landmarks in Jogja. Everyone knows it and it was like a center of Jogja too.

"Tugu Jogja is the most popular landmark of Yogyakarta. This monument is located right in the center of the crossroad between the Mangkubumi, Soedirman, A.M. Sangaji and Diponegoro roads. Tugu used to be a place to stopping by in the night, taking a picture there, touching it :) and there's people think that your visit isn't completed if you didn't touch this tugu. But you know, tugu is one of favourite places too, to used as a domonstration location!

You saw it in my pic above. I took it while some akhawat from muslim students organization showed their opinion about something. They were just a little amount of students, but the location was great to get attention. Well, go fight and show your feeling in peace, sisters!
